Overview

The Employability Challenge Award helps Explorers prepare for the future by focusing on personal development and career readiness. It’s a longer-term project that encourages young people to explore their goals and build confidence in real-world skills. Explorers will choose a challenge linked to employability and work on it over time, using the Experience Principles to structure their journey. This could include developing confidence in interviews, organising events, gaining new skills or connecting with employers, while reflecting on their progress and what they’ve learned about their future pathways.
