About the Explorers Relaunch

Since launching in the UK in 2002, Explorers has inspired young people for almost 25 years. In June 2026, the programme was refreshed to better meet the needs of young people today, with the addition of new Activity Badges designed to develop both soft and hard skills, alongside those valued by employers.

More than 3,000 young people, volunteers and partners from the UK and around the world helped shape the programme and brand redesign. The redesign also introduced a new visual identity, including a refreshed logo, colours, badges and resources, creating a modern and truly youth-shaped brand.
